NightBlade: Cool. What? I think some of the Nightcore covers have an interesting sound. And it's not like I listen indiscriminately. What's wrong with that?

NightBlade: Do you have a particular reason you dislike nightcore, or is this an opinion you hold on principle? jliessa44: Thank you. That's mostly what I meant anyway . . .

When it's just a sped up and vocal-pinched version of an existing song then I think it's cheap and lame. Which is both a reason and a principle. The 10% of all nightcore that is actually original, I can appreciate

theinconceivable1 Then consider yourself introduced! His music is awesome. He is a Christian artist with pretty unusual music for the Christian genre. I really recommond his song "The Arrow" and "At the Table" and "Anchor of my Soul" and "Million Miles" and "The Resistance"... among others. :D

Turns out I have accidentally thanks to a Spotify Daily mix thingie. He’s pretty good. I also would recommend The Gray Havens (two of my favourites being Ghost of a King, and This My Soul...Or really the whole album of Ghost of a King)

*pops in* Are we talking about The Grey Havens? I love their music! I think Sirens, Band of Gold, and High Enough are probably my favorites, but it's a close decision. xD

A different genre of music to be sure... but I'm in Seussical with my Musical Theatre club here at Uni and man, I forgot how much fun being in a musical is. I also was surprised (though I probably shouldn't have been) at just how much it has helped my vocal range. I've been in a chapel choir that sings traditional hymns every year, but it's not incredibly vocally challenging--especially since I nearly always sing bass. But being in a musical, especially an over the top one like this, and singing tenor for many of the songs, has really helped strengthen and increase my range. Do any of you sing in choirs, choral ensembles, or the like? Have you been in musicals in the past or are you now in one?
