Yeeeeeaaah. I kinda figured that since it's not metal. But I love it anyway. Did you like it? Kinda catchy and mellow sounds ambivalent. Lol. Which is fine, just wanna make sure I interpret it right.

Well I'm not exactly a metal guy heheh more of hard rock or trap or celtic. Ambivalence is legit, right? It wasn't, like, "I love it add it to my playlist" but it wasn't "boooring" it was just y'know, good mellow mood. Like hopeful sounding. I like this when I want to calm down and chill out. Super mellow www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3PGmWCWh7c

I just came across this song, and I love it.
"Heal" -Tom Odell
Take my mind and take my pain, Like an empty bottle takes the rain.
And heal, heal, heal, heal.
And take my past and take my sins, Like an empty sail takes the wind.
And heal, heal, heal, heal.
And tell me some things last. And tell me some things last.
Take my heart and take my hand, Like an ocean takes the dirty sands. And heal, heal, Heck heal!
Take my mind and take my pain, Like an empty bottle takes the rain. And heal, heal, Heck heal!
And tell me some things last. And tell me some things last. And tell me some things last. And tell me some things last.

We the People by Death Of An Era
Justice will prevail. America, Look at yourself. What have you become?
Land of the free, granting freedom only to the rich. Tax incentives flow like champagne to their open mouths. The weak and weary, traded as slaves, just to further their capital gains.
They leave so little for the rest, Holed up in castles, they turn their backs on fellow man, And raise the prices.
We're here to take back the world. We are stronger, Than the leaders that are failing us. And we will stand, all together, We are united and we're not afraid. We are not afraid. We the people, gave you your power, And it's ours to take back. Were taking it back.
We must bring down the federal reserve.
Our treasury is run by bank executives privately, The central banks, the central cause of all our poverty. They print money that is backed by nothing, Then charge us interest at a "nominal" fee.
We're here to take back the world, We are stronger, Than the leaders that are failing us. And we will stand, all together, We are united and we're not afraid. We are not afraid. We the people, gave you your power, And it's ours to take back. Were taking it back.
We're here to take back the world, We are stronger, Than the leaders that are failing us. And we will stand, all together, We are united and we're not afraid. We are not afraid.

"Lost Boy" Ruth B
[Intro] There was a time when I was alone Nowhere to go and no place to call home My only friend was the man in the moon And even sometimes he would go away, too
[Verse 1] Then one night, as I closed my eyes, I saw a shadow flying high He came to me with the sweetest smile Told me he wanted to talk for awhile He said, "Peter Pan. That's what they call me. I promise that you'll never be lonely." And ever since that day...
[Chorus] I am a lost boy from Neverland Usually hanging out with Peter Pan And when we're bored we play in the woods Always on the run from Captain Hook "Run, run, lost boy," they say to me, "Away from all of reality."
[2x] Neverland is home to lost boys like me And lost boys like me are free
[Verse 2] He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe Believe in him and believe in me Together we will fly away in a cloud of green To your beautiful destiny As we soared above the town that never loved me I realized I finally had a family Soon enough we reached Neverland Peacefully my feet hit the sand And ever since that day...
[2x] Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy Darling, Even Captain Hook. You are my perfect story book Neverland, I love you so, You are now my home sweet home Forever a lost boy at last
And for always I will say...
[Chorus] I am a lost boy from Neverland Usually hanging out with Peter Pan And when we're bored we play in the woods Always on the run from Captain Hook "Run, run, lost boy," they say to me, "Away from all of reality."
[2x] Neverland is home to lost boys like me And lost boys like me are free

these lyrics are poetry haha
Stranger by Counterparts
Your ghost holds me close As I’m ravaged by the solitary that surrounds my former home Use me until you’ve spent the rest of my remains And then try to validate your actions Cursing every empty vein That used to be inhabited by your impression
Paralyze me To ensure I have no chance of knowing the feeling of affection It’s no secret that I’ve shed the common decency That appoints the world with the burden of devotion to our kin I gave you everything I had and the world has left me exhausted
(So make me feel) So make me feel something Anything that might change my mind As worthless as I am, I know that I still serve a purpose To leech off the light and absolve my insignificance
Lay me to rest Lay me to rest inside of a glass casket So you can remember me with a smile on my face Adorning me in my own failures So you can count them as you stand above my bones
I wish I were a better man I am a coward masked in courage And just admitting this will not save me this time So free me from my tired mind And let me learn the difference Between a single tear and the runoff of an ocean Weak and weary from my predatory nature So bless me with abandonment in my greatest time of need
Let me carry on knowing that I could never truly face my reflection It’s much easier to caress the broken glass (broken glass) Though if I accidentally catch a glimpse of myself in the shards I will put my faith in the shrapnel to correct my vision
I am a stranger when I stare into the eyes of those I love Look away in disgust Protect yourself from the sight of my deception I am a stranger when I stare into the eyes of those I love Look away in disgust Protect yourself from the sight of my deception

Golden by Ruth B
The fire used to burn, all the words used to hurt But you're not like us, you are different I couldn't see that that was a compliment Cause the last thing I want now is to be you And the flames don't feel as hot as they use to
Burn, burn, burn They used to yell You thought I was coal My friend, I'm gold Can't you tell?
Burn, burn, burn They used to yell You thought I was coal My friend, I'm gold Can't you tell?
Cause I'm not weak, I'm not broken I am bold And the fire you put me through turned me into gold I'm not done, I'm no loser Watch me take on my bright future Tonight I'm no bronze I'm no silver You'll be thinking, d*** I knew her But you didn't Don't get it twisted
Out of the ashes you buried me in I, I am golden I, I am golden
You tried so hard to break me down Like a fire-breathing dragon, but I guess I took your crown You pushed for me to change for you But I'm so glad that I stayed true to who I am
The fire that you tried to burn me with, it made me who I am All the things that you said I couldn't do Guess what, Yes I can
The fire that you tried to burn me with, it made me who I am All the things that you said I couldn't do Guess what, Yes I can
Cause I'm not weak, I'm not broken I am bold And the fire you put me through turned me into gold I'm not done, I'm no loser Watch me take on my bright future Tonight I'm no bronze I'm no silver You'll be thinking d*** I knew her But you didn't Don't get it twisted
Out of the ashes you buried me in I, I am golden I, I am golden, golden, gold I, I am golden, golden, goolden

"The Green Fields Of France" The High Kings
Well how do you do, young Willy McBride Do you mind if I sit here down by your graveside And rest for a while 'neath the warm summer sun I've been walking all day, and I'm nearly done And I see by your gravestone you were only nineteen When you joined the great fallen in 1916 I hope you died well And I hope you died clean Or Willy McBride, was is it slow and obscene
Did they beat the drums slowly Did they play the fife lowly Did they sound the death march as they lowered you down Did the band play the last post and chorus Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest
Did you leave a wife or a sweetheart behind In some faithful heart is your memory enshrined Though you died back in 1916 In that faithful heart are you forever nineteen Or are you a stranger without even a name Forever enshrined behind some a glass pane In an old photograph torn, tattered, and stained And faded to yellow in a brown leather frame
Did they beat the drums slowly Did they play the fife lowly Did they sound the death march as they lowered you down Did the band play the last post and chorus Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest
The sun now it shines over the green fields of France There's a warm summer's breeze makes the red poppies dance And look how the sun shines from under the clouds There's No gas, no barbed wire, there's no gun firing now But here in this graveyard it's still no mans land And the countless white crosses stand mute witness stand To man's blind indifference to his fellow man To a whole generation that were butchered and damned
Did they beat the drums slowly Did they play the fife lowly Did they sound the death march as they lowered you down Did the band play the last post and chorus Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest
Now young Willy McBride, I can't help but wonder why Do all those who lie here know why did they die And did they really believe when they they answered the call Did they really believe that this war would end wars For the suffering, the sorrow, the glory, the shame The killing and dying were all done in vain For Willy McBride it all happened again And again, and again, and again, and again
Did they beat the drums slowly Did they play the fife lowly Did they sound the death march as they lowered you down Did the band play the last post and chorus Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest
Did they beat the drums slowly Did they play the fife lowly Did they sound the death march as they lowered you down Did the band play the last post and chorus Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

"Soldier" Goo Goo Dolls
When you came back I knew you'd have a story You need someone to ease the pain of living life You're like a soldier in the fray, seeking shelter from all the madness that you've seen raining down now
I know things change, your world has slipped away I know things change, but you're living like a soldier who's caught in the fray Don't lose your faith, it's not so cold, it's not too late
When you were naive you were so invincible and you laughed at anyone and anything that ever got in your way But now the mirror shows the change and you don't see that you're sinking back into the crowd, an echo fading
I know things change, your world has slipped away I know things change, but you're living like a soldier who's caught in the fray Don't lose your faith, it's not so cold, it's not too late
And I never thought I'd see you living on your knees A slave to some disease that holds you captive
And you can look inside of me but the answers that you seek and everything you need is all inside you
I know things change, your world has slipped away I know things change, but you're living like a soldier who's caught in the fray Don't lose your faith, it's not so cold, it's not too late

Shovels & Dirt by The Strumbellas
Mama never told 'em there's a devil in me I got a mouth full of rotten and a heart full of greed Shovels and dirt, shovels and dirt Well it ain't worth living if you don't get hurt Alright!
Cowboy hats and crooked teeth With a sick shooting pistol just out of my reach Shovels and dirt, shovels and dirt Well it ain't worth living if you don't get hurt
I got a head full of darkness and darkness is good Cause if we all die young then we don't get hurt Alright!
Well demons pull me side to side again Yeah but I'm scared of sleeping, I hate my friends Shovels and dirt, shovels and dirt Well it ain't worth living if you don't get hurt
I got a head full of darkness and darkness is good Cause if we all die young then we don't get hurt I got a head full of darkness and darkness is good Cause if we all die young then we don't get hurt
I put a banjo up into the sky It keeps us moving, it keeps us moving x10
I got a head full of darkness and darkness is good Cause if we all die young then we don't get hurt I got a head full of darkness and darkness is good Cause if we all die young then we don't get hurt
Mama never told 'em there's a devil in me I got a sick shooting pistol and I'm ready to leave

"...You need the light just because you're so afraid...now bow down and learn to be a good slave! We fall in line, We live the lie! Give up, give up and feed the machine! It grows inside Nowhere to hide Give up, give up and feed the machine! Give up, give up and feed the machine!"

Twenty One Pilots "Truce"
Now, the night is coming to an end, Oh
The sun will rise, and we will try again. Oh
Stay alive, stay alive, for me. You will die, but now your life is free,
Take Pride In what is sure To Die.
I will fear the night again, Oh
I hope I'm not my only friend. Oh
Stay alive, stay alive, for me. You will die, but now your life is free,
Take Pride In what is sure To Die.

I'll Be Okay Allison Weiss
There's something endearing about this empty room. The sun's in my eyes now. It's a quarter past two. And I've got my guitar, and you've got your space. So I'm stuck in this place. I'm stuck in this place.
I kind of don't mind it, but I'm losing my mind. I'll put off what's important if it'll buy me some time. Time to get braver. Time to postpone that evident failure I can't seem to disown. And I'm still alone. Yeah, I'm still alone.
Will you take me home?
The day is not over, but I'm still in my bed, 'cause sleep is the answer to the questions that float in my head. And I am not sober. And I am not well. I thought you could tell. Yeah, you never could tell.
I've nothing put patience and nothing to lose, 'cause you've given me nothing in the time that it takes you to choose. There's no excuse now for making mistakes. It's time to grow up. Face the choices you make. You take and you take. And I'm starting to break.
But I'll be okay. I'll be okay (repeated a bunch of times)

Conviction was your shelter, Boarded up, rejected, left behind... To lower life where aimless spirits die Suffer your indifference, Tie that troubled stone around your neck Exalt your fall and hear your mother's cry,
Colder now, Thank your hopeful solitude it's colder now, Throw your blackened heart into Resistance!

"Deserving of Life," by Amazarashi Translated by some dear soul on YouTube I met someone I liked, we unmistakably touched Asphalt over dirt, skin over steel If we instinctively choose warmth instead of the cold Then our dirt-covered faces are deserving of life There are those who snarl that we’re overreaching but we’ll sing of their hypocrisy If you need a reason to push forward Be it anger, or something else it is deserving of life For the sun to rise and dry my spilled tears Patiently and tirelessly I wait and wait I’ve continued reaching, since that day it all fell apart For the morning I will be redeemed It’s worth destroying the world for the warmth I seek We could not be together Loneliness with loneliness What happened on those travels? That habit of laughing away pain There wouldn’t have been much to regret If only we didn’t have a hearts I made a friend we shared ideals We headed forward our strides were the same I’d even stomach betrayal The nights we drank till dawn sprawled on the side of the road are deserving of life We kept searching for something, to replace what we’d lost Perhaps it’s not so, and loss is the solution Hoping for the tables to turn, knowing that it’s not impossible Even the footsteps that trailed off, should be called the journey It was worth deceiving the world, for what we had We couldn’t keep apart, loners who had found each other What happened on those travels? A look that said inflicting pain was to be expected There wouldn’t have been much to regret If only we didn’t have a hearts To protect what I loved, I broke many things So many wishes brought suddenly to an end Walking across the broken pieces with bare feet, falling with my next step I’d accept death with that one step yet that is the one deserving of life That loss, worth giving your heart for But sadness can’t make a clean switch for joy What happened on those travels? The answer is what I am now Hope, we could have thrown it away so simply If only we didn’t have hearts Light and Darkness ___________________ Here's the original song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDVaqkYTmCQ
