Say what you want about Destiny, I agree that it has some flaws—but it has some really great stuff, including Nathan Fillion. And the music. Mainly the music and Nathan Fillion. Cool, I'll have to check it out.

Mixing music takes sooo much patience. Lol. Sat at my PC all day yesterday, last night, and now half of the day today attempting to mix a guitar cover.

^ My set up currently.

^ Stuff to keep me going - aka Taco Bell and Oreos.

^ Some Ritz, a tuner, a variety of different sized guitar picks, and the mixing software REAPER on my computer screen.

^ My equipment: Line 6 UX1, a crappy PC with no GPU, and an old Johnson Strat that has fret buzz.

I can make this work.

I use Mixcraft so its a lot easier than Reaper and your guitar is gorgeous!!!! its a pretty sweet set up all in all.

And yeah, it is a pretty cozy set up. :) Someday when I'm in a professional recording environment, I'll probably look back and miss my little home studio. Lol.

But it will be looked back on with fond memories as you're surrounding by bigger better equipment, cozy still just a bit larger, and definitely more crowded. ^_^
I like parts of the song like the chorus, not so much the verses. ^_^ But it's not a bad song

And yeah, freaking MixCloud took it down because of a crappy policy that has to do with file size. :/ SoundCloud won't accept it because of copyright issues, which is pretty dumb because there are a bunch of other people who upload the exact same stuff. I have to find a way to get around the automatic rejection system if I want to get it up.
Seriously though, I spent literally all of Friday and Saturday mixing this track, so I'm not going to let my loss of sleep go to nothing. XP

Another thing is, if you felt comfortable sending me your song I have lots if programs I can mix it down to a file size that would work for you on Mixcloud and save you the hassle of trying to get around soundcloud.

Haha, the problem with the file size is that it's too small. MixCloud has some policy about tracks being at least 60MB, and mine is 3.70MB so it got removed. Thanks though!
