That's an awesome song!
Goner is about desperate full surrender to God.
Waste is a guy using allegory to explain faith from his perspective.
Skin and Bones is about someone who is just starting (or returning to) true faith... I like all of them. I'll stop analyzing now.
BTW, This Twenty One Pilots song is about the only 'love song' that I actually like.

Ahh I love twenty one pilots.
I've started to get into a bunch of acoustic music lately. If I ever release any music it will probably be acoustic. Lol.
EDIT:
This song is literally about Star Wars and the Force... It's even called The Dark Side, and it quotes one of the movies. xD
The voices in your head
You must fight to endure Hope is the only cure
Everyone you hold close Is poison to your mind Be mindful of your feelings They may pull you from the light I sense great fear in you And that could only mean one thing Fear leads to anger and anger to hate And this is why darkness surrounds your fate
The voices in your head Don't listen to what they say Just keep doing what you do When you're doubting yourself And it's clouding your mind Stay away from the dark side You must fight to endure Fear is a disease and hope is the only cure Fear is a disease and hope is the only cure Fear is a disease and hope is the only cure
When surrounded by war you must always choose a side Don't give in to greed and envy, you'll be betrayed by your pride Without humility courage is a dangerous game The winding path to peace is always a worthy one Regardless of how many turns it takes
The voices in your head Don't listen to what they say Just keep doing what you do When you're doubting yourself And it's clouding your mind Stay away from the dark side You must fight to endure Fear is a disease and hope is the only cure
You were supposed to be the chosen one The chosen one The universe can make you feel invisible So don't forget about your principles Keep your friends close and your demons at bay Your demons at bay

It actually quotes episodes I and II. I'm pretty sure Count Dooku said "I sense great fear in you." And the fear leads to anger thing is in Episode I. And then there's "Be mindful of your feelings," which shows up everywhere. EDIT: Angel, I think you posted the same URL twice...

I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVEN'T SHARED THIS WITH YOU GUYS YET.
One of my friends sent me this because he thought it was something I'd show him, and so I ended up sending this to everyone I know.
Just listen to it. All of it. And enjoy it.
EDIT: Seriously though, the more you listen to it the more you actually start to like it. It's crazy.

That's really good!!
So I'm kinda disappointed in today's Christian music. I just got the chord chart for tomorrow because I'm on the worship team, and literally you only play 3 or 4 notes max each song. Oh, and occasionally they throw a random note in the bridge if they wanna be fancy haha.

Yeah, unfortunately music these days dont really require a lot of actual playing which sucks...

I think that's why I gravitate more toward metal, rock, orchestra/epic, etc. It takes talent to play most of the time haha.

Orchestral/epic is mostly done digital so rock and metal I think is more the real deal. ^_^

Hymns use a whole heap of chords. You could play some of those, CNGoodhue

Hymns are awesome.
I like orchestra music, and live orchestras are usually real and not digital :P
Video game music is usually awesome. Sometimes it has frequent loops, but it's still great.

New TFK song is out. To be completely honest, it looks like they're taking some sort of Southern direction :/ I know they've always had some Southern influence in their music, but now it's stronger. Can't judge the whole album off of the first couple of singles, but with what I've heard so far I think I'll just stick to WTTM and TEIWWB haha. The bridge and the outro aren't too bad in this song though.
