Yesh. And now she's one of my top favorite artists ever haha. I bought the new album the instant it came out last summer

Heh. I still only listen to a limited amount of her stuff, since some of it is weird . . . but that's just me.

Most of the later albums, really? Some of it I don't know if it's weird or not, but I'm not in the mood to take the risk. (Though, if you have any recommendations of especially good songs, I'd happily listen to them.)

Oh yesyes. So in her new album, Arcadia, Heart of Poison, Suil a Run, all some of my faves. Alpha Et Omega is super cool and hardcore, also Palm of your Hand and This Present Darkness, they are Christian themed. Hourglass is good too but it hits me with feels.

Suil a run is one of my favorite songs no matter who sings it. (If it's the one I'm thinking of.)

Here's something that my older brother did. He did all the guitar and I'm pretty sure he wrote the drums too. I think the vocals are some dude from his band but idk haha. soundcloud.com/gcsterling/testtrack01

I'm looking for song recommendations. I'm mildly tired of my normal songs. Right now I've been listening to Lorde, Fun, Imagine Dragons, and Fall Out Boy. So something along those lines if anyone knows of clean songs. I don't mind the occasional d word or heck. But I try to avoid them and I don't listen to songs with anything else in it all.

jliessa44Well I guess it depends on if you're looking for pop? Cuz I avoid that lane like the plague, but for other styles a not off the path I can suggest some things. For real mellow chill kind of stuff, some nice chillstep/liquid trap examples are Shark by Oh Wonder, Far Away or Not Alone by CMA, Everything by Yinyues, Superhuman by Juventa, Don't Let me Go by Echoes, oh and a personal favorite is Butterflies by Bassnectar. Some have lyrics, some don't, but they're all super calm and chill. Tomorrow when I have time I can send you a YouTube link list. Also Skillet and Red both have some calmer, more contemporary songs. Like, Skillet has American Noise or A Little More and stuff like that, and Red has songs like Not Alone and Hold Me Now. Starset is a band you might find interesting. I like them quite a bit and they might fit into your taste. As far as I can remember, all 100% clean

As you might suspect, I'm more of a pop person... Thanks for the suggestions. I'm looking into Starset. I'll look at the others as I have time. I'm working sooooooo much this week so now I'm exhausted. >.<
