I'd have to say that the Peal Harbour soundtrack is one of the most stellar sets of Hans Zimmer's work.

Can't stop replaying this song!! The chorus is so good, and the positive vibe is real nice too.
If my eyes are the oceans that put your head in the clouds, then your heart is the reason I keep my feet on the ground. I've just watched the world turning, kept my head held up high, kept my feet on the ground, kept the hope in my eyes.

I love this song. Going on a WCAR spree lately, their lyrics are so good and easy to relate to.
I am so far away And it's more than I can take I haven't heard your voice in days I haven't heard your voice in days
What is the measure of a man? Is it wading through the worst? Or is the measure of a man Admitting when he is defeated?
But I am not and will not be defeated I have given everything in my life for this I'm counting down the days Though I've been broken and beaten I know I can't let it, I know I can't let it win
This feeling that there is nothing left That my purpose is gone These views, they never cease To keep me from myself and who I am So what makes the measure of a man? Is it being too stubborn to let go of the good and move on?
But I am not and will not be defeated I will wade through the worst of it all I'm counting down the days Though I've been broken and beaten I am not done with this I know I will not fall
This is my deepest dream Or is this a nightmare in disguise? What makes the measure of a man? Is it always trying to do right? I'm' so far away And I don't know if it's more than I can take With these views, that never cease to keep me from myself
With these views, they never cease to keep me from myself I will keep moving forward when I have nothing left
I am not and will not be defeated I've given everything in my life for this But I am not and will not be defeated I've given everything in my life for this

I've tried them before, but they weren't really my style so to speak (well, actually, I thought the instrumentation was really cool, it was just the vocals that I was kinda eh about). To each their own I guess! Hey, has anyone heard anything about the new TFK/Skillet albums coming out?

Yeah, I agree with you on the music and lyrics. I've only listened to their new album though
I know SKillet's working on a new one, for which I am SUUUUPER stoked. Idk about TFK. They already rushed their last one and it was kinda underwhelming. Hope they're not gonna do that again.

The How to Train Your Dragon Soundtrack is the best soundtrack of all time. Believe me.

Wookiee: Heh heh. Great minds think alike.

Well if you're going by composers, I'd say Hans Zimmer and Howard Shore are the best, with Neil Davidge and Martin O'Donnel as second best. By individual scores, I'd say LOTR 2, Spirit, Halo Reach and Halo 4 have the best soundtracks ever

So... Soundtracks that aren't too obtrusive on your work, kinda quiet background music. Long ones are a must; 1 hour or more.
Any ideas?
