First time, yes. It was spectacular. Awesome experience and inspirational. A long day, though, because we got back at 3 AM. You've been there?

Yup. Twice last summer. The first time was, like yours, a very long day involving a lot of driving and an arrival home at 2 AM the next morning. The second time we met my aunt there, and that was a shorter day, but only because we stayed in a hotel overnight.

Cool! Did you go on the boat either of those times?

Both times. 'Twas better the second time, since we got a spot right at the front. The first time we walked through the Cave of the Winds as wellā which wasn't actually a cave, but it was still pretty cool. I want to go back there sometime without a camera so I can appreciate it without stressing over expensive stuff getting soaked.
Did you go to both the US and Canadian sides? Or did you stay on this side?

That's a great idea to go without a phone. I'll probably do the same if I ever go back (which I think would be worth doing, but probably won't for a while). What was the Cave of the Winds like? We were trying to find information about it, but found little.
Just the US side. I don't have a passport. Though it would be awesome to see it from their side. Did you?

I said camera, not phone. My phone was very safe in my pocket under my poncho, but I kept worrying that water would get inside my poncho and soak my camera. The Cave of the Winds is basically a walkway that takes you right up against Bridal Veil falls and some of the other falls close to it. So, like I said, not a cave, but still pretty cool.
We went to Canada the first time, but not the second time, because my aunt and her family didn't have their passports. I think the US side is a little more excitingā you can get closer to the fallsā but Canada has the better views for taking scenic photography.

@theinconceivableone We hiked up the Rocky Mountains. I did some kinda insane rock climbing over a mountain pond. It was awesome. I played volleyball most nights at CSU too. That was fun.
