Okay, yeah, that's fair. I actually pretty much agree, I think. I guess when I think of "art" I automatically think of religious art and stuff like that. But yeah, I definitely wouldn't call any drawings that I've made "deep." Or even layered, hah. But yeah, I think we are more or less in agreement. I actually have a doodle or two I made when I was supposed to be taking notes that I might share, if only I can figure out how to post images from my phone.

Thread lag? Or the forum's lying to me about who last posted...
Edit: And my earlier edit didn't send o.O
Good luck with figuring that out, I still haven't and just transfer it onto my laptop.

I'm drawing my first real frame-by-frame animation segment right now. Much drawing. Much pain. We shall see how the result turns out...

The struggle. I believe in you, bud! Also, can one post images off a phone? Is it possible?

I've never figured out how, always just transfer into my laptop and do it from there.

You have to go to the desktop version. It's a pain, but it works.

I created this ring in Blender. Challenging, but quite satisfying. Now I'm waiting to hear back from a friend I've hired to 3D print it. :D

Heheh, I operate a 3D printer as part of my work at the library. Our printer is a decent one but it wouldn't be able to print the fine detail on the jewel—it's not that precise, not for something as small as a ring. Other printers will be different though.
Doing that kind of thing with Blender is an achievement!

That's awesome that you get to work with 3D printers. Even if they're not the most detailed, it's amazing what they can make!

Agreed. (Also, this new thing where libraries have 3D printers available for use is my new favorite thing.) I've made a ton of D&D dice on them, a sword, and, most recently, a lightsaber.

Yoooo that's cool. How big of a sword did you make?

Basically a full-size Roman gladius? It's big enough to look impressive hanging up on my wall and long enough that I can hang it from my belt and it reaches past my knee.
