Aeron shrugged. "Just bidin' my time until my two minutes is up." He took a deep breath, "I do know what I'm doin', but its gonna be a bit awkward without the proper tools." He leaned over Eli and peered at the hole. He almost smiled. "Its okay to scream." With that, he set about removing the bullet as careful as possible.

Bryin grinned widely and poked both the girls. "It's not a good game. I would like it better if we played Chase the Little People instead."

Eli frowned, "I'm not gonna screa..." he was cut off by a whimper and tried his hardest to keep still.
Jo clung onto Bryin's leg, "Nuh uh, this is fun."

Cale set the water close by and stood ready to pin Eli down if need be.

Aeron scowled, his fingers slipping from the blood covering them. "Hush up, then." He breathed easily after another minute or two, finally locating the bullet. "Gotcha..."

Bryin sighed, still smiling. "Why not? That one is my favorite." He glanced down at them. "Plus with you two like that, how am I supposed to go anywhere?"

Eli glared at Aeron, trying not to let out another whimper, and failing miserably at it. He started to writhe and let out a silent scream while Aeron dug around for the bullet.
Jo giggled, "You're not!"

Aeron grunted and sighed as he finally managed the pull the small bullet out, tossing it into the cup next to him. He scowled down at the torn skin. "Sit up, I'll need to do the stitches with you upright." He wiped some of the blood off his hands.

Eli pushed himself upright, forcing himself to ignore the pain in his shoulder, which had dulled when the bullet came out.

Aeron glared at the somewhat blunt needle. "Relax your shoulder." He abruptly starts stiching him up.

Eli stared at the wall, intensely scrutinising every detail to distract himself from the pain, and managed to keep his shoulder completely relaxed.

Aeron finished up, biting the end of the thread to detach it from the needle, and spat blood to the side. "A'ight." He nodded in appreciation of Eli's control, cleaning up around the wound.

((Lol. Okay, I wasn't entirely sure.)) Darvel came into the attic fully and looked around. He huffed when he spotted Angel. "Okay, I found you. Seriously, this would have been easier if you would have just given me my money back." Angel glared. "I need it. I told you that. D'you think I would've taken it if I didn't?" The hand not clutching her knife slid into her other pocket to cling to the money she'd grabbed. A weak voice came from behind the curtain? "Angel? 'S that you?" |

Cale made a face. He wasn't squeamish. But watching someone get stitched up was disturbing. And he found himself glad someone else had done it.

Angel scowled. "I got a sister to take care of." She wasn't about to tell him the other reason: she'd lost her job a few days ago when the man she worked for caught the Plague. "And that's her." She moved towards the edge of the curtain, planning to slip behind it. "And if you hurt her, I'll . . ." She searched for a suitable threat. "I'll cut your ear off."

Eli nodded gratefully at Aeron, "Thanks. First time I ain't had to do that myself." He examined the new, and slightly bloody hole in his jacket before stroking the worn leather. "That's another one for the collection buddy, you're getting a bit old for this." He looked at Cale, "Your turn?"
Jo giggled, nodding at Ella, "Wha' she said and 'cause then we get to play with you forever."
