Squall gulped. No, Kara wasn't like that. She couldn't... "I have talked to the Ossus Council about this situation." Thorn continued, removing his hand from Squall's wrist. "They have agreed that you are in no shape to train, and will not be for some time." "Wait, w-what?" "You will not be allowed to advance in your studies and become a Padawan to a Master, as punishment for your actions." Thorn's voice was getting steadily heated. "From now on, someone will keep an eye over you so you won't run off and make the same mistake again. You will not leave Ossus until you are given permission. You will not leave the Temple without permission. Am I clear?" Squall choked. Not become a full-fledged Padawan...? "Am I clear?" Thorn repeated, a sharp edge to his tone. Squall forced himself to nod. "Y-yes, Master."

The StarBlade. Minutes after leaving Tatooine.Jate left his hiding spot and stopped behind Essa and her daughter in their cabin. Essa was familiar. He’d studied her picture far too many times to not know her. He touched her on the shoulder. “I will explain my presence here soon, Essa Haniri, but as for now I offer my healing services to your daughter. I have analysed her condition remotely, and she will die if nothing is done.” (( Lylyss, when you're up to replying, I posted this on the last page. Since Raptor appears to want Alessa dead, I hope bringing in Jate now is all right.)) ((Squall…if you dare to disobey Thorn's orders and try to reason with Kara, I will personally exile you from the Jedi Order. ))

((Hey, guys. In the words of Mario, "I'mmma back!" *deep breath* Okay. Padawans first. As far as I can tell, Mikilah ( Derago Thorkson (The Hunter)) hasn't been on for awhile. All Aza has to reply to at the mo are Dexus and Red's affirmatives. xD Which is still fun! Mwhaahahaha. *chants* Steal the ship, steal the ship, steal the ship…)) Let's do dis thang! Aza typed in a burst of childish exuberance. This was goodbye to Tython, Master Cale, the Jedi Order and--she balked at the thought-- Naina. Naina would take this one personally... but it couldn't be helped. Can you guys sneak out this evening?__________________ ((Now Essa.)) Essa hesitated. There was something about this stranger that felt distinctly Jedi. But he was right--Alessa would die if nothing was done. She had no choice. Belatedly, Essa nodded toward the sickbed. "What're you waiting for then?" While the Jedi was at work, Essa took to opportunity to check her datapad. It had been beeping all day, and she was worried that it might be bad news from her brother. ___________________ ((Last but not least, Vizios.)) "I thought the same until a few months ago. Do you remember Gnawthrul Haniri? He managed to break into the detention center, kill a high-security inmate, fight his way out of the Council Hall and kill several Masters in the meantime." Moriah's voice was grave, but excitement danced in her eyes. "The Jedi are weak. We can kill them in their own Temple and fly away unscathed."

Dexus tried to contain his excitement. Finally he would leave this boring life behind to go on an adventure. He nodded at Aza. By evening, we'll be off this stupid planet.

Azas struggled to suppress a grin and typed: "Will do. In the meantime, try and think of a nice planet where we can lay low for awhile. Our Masters might not let us go that easy."

Vizios' dour expression remained unchanged. "I have heard such tales, yes. I also heard that the mighty Gnawthrul was killed by a mere knight." He crossed his arms and his eyes narrowed. "I will not deviate from this mission. If we are attacked, then I will fight. If you insist on instigating such a scenario and have us both killed, then so be it."

With a magical sparkly poof, Kayma and Karas' ship appeared over Nar Shaddaa.

Brushing magic sparkles from her hair, Kara looked down at the planet and grimaced. "It looks better all the way up here." She grumbled. "Have I told you how much I hate this place? 'Cause I do. But, if we're gonna get that shabla jetii aruetii then we'd better stock up." She hooked her helmet to her belt, taking a moment to check and make sure her paint-job was smooth. Her armor was gold now. For vengeance. She thought. Thorn is going to pay.

"Smells like Hutts." Kayma agreed, wrinkling her nose as she set the ship down for landing. "But when we off that jetii then it won't smell quite so bad." The ship's ramp dropped, and Kayma strutted out onto the landing platform. "This way."

Kayma water a ways, then her datapad beeped. She glanced around, then pointed to a dark alleyway. "Or contact is that way, cmon." She picked up her pace.

"Great, more alleys." Kara muttered, following. Her hand rested on her side-arm as her eyes darted over each and every shadow. If anyone tried to jump them, she wasn't going to leave them with much to attempt it again.

Kayma cautiously approached the Rhodian leaning against the wall. He tipped open a large hardcase open, revealing nearly a dozen various weapons. "Ammo is separate." Is all he said.

"Ain't that a deal." Kara said dryly. She peered into the case. The weapons looked different than the ones Kayma had shown her—but that was a given with trying to buy stuff online.

Kayma held up a plasma pistol in one hand and a sonic blaster in the other...both looking hotter than she remembered stock weapons were. "Choices, choices." She mumbled. "Which do I pick to go with that?" She pointed towards a gun that was identified as a shattergun carbine.
(They'll be like guns you've heard of, but modified and produced by Armaware's own corporation)

Meanwhile, Kara was more interested in a small hold-out just a tad larger than her palm. "I dunno—your choice, I guess. Ooh." She put the hold-out down and picked up a shattergun rifle. "I'm liking this." (I have a picture of what it's supposed to look like, but its on my laptop and I'm locked out of my room at the moment... )

“Thank you.” Valene raised her lightsaber and, along with Samuel and Io’Nahsé, followed Ver into the throne chamber of the Temple of Jahn. She’d never seen this chamber before. Yet, from the Chief Protector’s tales, she knew it immediately. This was where Kiera Imarien had been imprisoned during the Koros War. This was where Imnal Dvaron and Jorus Travar had faced Arizael of Tallusi years ago. The holocron still floated there, an artefact of the Dark Force which Arizael had used to imprison Kiera and neutralise her power. A shudder rippled up her spine. Elius knew the stories. Hopefully he didn’t know the power.
“No.” Elius rose to his feet and ignited his lightsaber, once blue, now purple in the chamber’s eerie red glow. “No, I shall not surrender, as you suspected. I will live with my choices.” His eyes burned dark. “And with the strike of a saber through my daughter’s heart, I shall snuff out my shame, that I should ever beget a slave of the Light.”
"And you claim you're not a Sith" Ver sped up her advance slightly, glancing about the room, assessing its every corner for anything either side might use to their advantage. She saw no doorways leading out except that which they'd came in, but that meant little. Doorways could be hidden easily, especially here with the bloody light deepening every shadow. Her gaze brushed across the holocron without recognizing it, though she could feel in the Force that it held power, and resettled on Elius. She recalled what Lief Imarien had said outside, what tactics they'd used earlier. They'd need to surround him again, keep him from escaping through another hidden door if he thought things were going poorly. And they'd need to make sure he stayed grounded- Ver wasn't sure how long he could sustain levitation like he'd used earlier, or how much maneuverability he had, but a flying opponent would just make things worse for them. Seeing that she was within striking distance, she sent a swift slash at Elius. "In any case, I believe you'll find the Light more difficult to put out than you think."

(Locked out of your room? :? )
Kayma sighed and went with the plasma pistol and the shattergun. But on second thought, she bought a heavy sonic blaster too and a copulent amount of ammunition for all three of them. "Kay. You good to go yet?"

Kara bought just the rifle, and enough ammunition to last for a few months—if she didn't use it all at once. "Yep, I'm good."

(Ah, makes sense. And apparently you don't get equa rights? I kinda get what you mean...I basically have 7 roommates in 4 connected bedrooms x)
Kayma raised an eyebrow at Kara's single purchase, but shrugged and arranged her weapons on her armor. "Let's go, then." As she turned and left the substantially wealthy Rhodian, she tapped her helmet comm. "We're ready, ba'vodu. Let's do this."

((My sib was practicing violin, which meant no one enters under pain of death...or a bow in the eye. ))
Kara hooked the rifle on her back, slipping on her helmet. "Ready when you are, Kay'ika."
----------- He could feel the warm breeze on his face, smell the almost-faint scent of flowers, feel the soft grass under his fingertips, hear the Younglings practicing some distance away... But he couldn't see it. The bandages surrounding his face hadn't been removed yet-- "Won't for some time." said Geni, his 'caretaker'. "We want you to be as healed as possible, so that means keeping your wounds shielded for now." Squall knew it was because his face was scarred beyond recognition, and it would scare the Younglings. It was because he had no vision. The healers were trying to keep the information from him as long as possible, but he knew. Thorn had told him. Alone, the news sent flashes of sorrow through his body, but he wouldn't cry. Couldn't cry. But the Force was still with him, and it seemed stronger than ever. And, now, in the place meant for peace, he felt the stirrings of something quite the opposite. Something was coming, and he knew exactly what it was.
((Adding a picture of the gun because I got my room back, yay))

Draejan casually walked out of anearby wall, quickly purchasing a blaster carbine, better handgun,(both modded) and a fair amount of ammo for ech. "Sigh... Could've spent all day looking at such fine weaponry,"", he thought as he caught up with Kara and Kayma. "So, what's the plan?"

Jate stepped towards the wounded child on the sickbed and gently took the stub of her wounded arm. A surge of Force healing sprang from his hands almost immediately…unconsciously. He couldn’t help it. Though still of Padawan age, healing came reflexively to him now. Today, he was glad he couldn’t help it. With his free hand, he tapped a message on his wrist vibrator. Healing bond. His associates would pick it up no matter where they were, and the vibrators connected them beyond physical communication—it connected them through the Force, too. An answer came almost immediately. A healing bond between three presences strengthened his power. Jate nodded. Good. They had reached the places they’d sought. He concentrated his power on turning back the flow of blood, soothing away the pain, easing the child into a light sleep. Slowly, almost too slowly, the bleeding slowed to a trickle and finally stopped altogether. He closed his eyes, searching for infection as he began sealing the wound, slipping into a meditative trance. Little to no infection—that was good. Too often he’d lost comrades to infection despite their wounds being healed. The ship jerked. He blinked and stared at the child. Though blotches discoloured the stub of her arm, the artery had sealed. Smaller veins and capillaries no longer dripped blood. He exhaled. She would survive.
The recording of Pyre’s gravelly voice played quietly. “Essa. No time for pleasantries. I think you have a traitor in your group.” A pause. “Avarice Khan knew you were coming. You, Javez, and the rest. I assume my endeavours to kill him will have absolved me of suspicion, so what piques my interest is that Javez’s brother—Ka, I think his name was—stayed behind in the StarBlade. I can see no other reason for this than Ka contacting Khan while the rest of you went off to die. We could have used Ka and the ship out there, but he didn’t come back till the end. And I’ll leave you with this question, if you suspect me. Why would a traitor say a traitor existed?” Another pause. “Don’t tell anyone. I doubt Javez would believe this, and Ka mustn’t discover I suspect him. Contact me if you want to discuss this more.” The recording finished, and a string of numbers popped onto the screen—Pyre’s contact number.
“Adherents of the dark side are not always Sith.” Elius blocked the slash and immediately countered with a hard smack to her lightsaber. “And consider this. When the light is absent, the shadows rule. We will always return. We cannot be dismissed forever.” His form seemed to swell, a raven’s cloak of shadow draping his shoulders and sweeping the floor. “You stand in Chaos, Ver Damere, beneath a million tons of cursed earth and stone. This temple has merged with the borderlands of the dark side’s source. Our power is infinite.”
Valene shook her head, forcing the dark whispers from her mind, and leapt, coming down at Elius in the Falling Leaf. His blade whipped out from facing Ver into a horizontal parry, and he swivelled himself to put her between him and Ver. She hissed her frustration and jabbed at his left shoulder with two swift thrusts. He was weaker there—deflecting thrusts had never been her father's forte. Yet he parried both of them, spinning around her, this time ending with his back to Samuel and Io'Nahsé. She spun out of the way, clearing room for Ver while she herself watched for another opening. Samuel and Io'Nahsé advanced as one. Samuel's twin sabers cycled through a flurry of sweeping Juyo slashes before he jerked forward and brought both in an X against Elius's vertical blade, locking with the fallen Protector's azure blade.

(( Derago Thorkson (The Hunter): They're still in the same place, I think—Jedi Temple's courtyard, or so I assume. I wrote this back on page 3:)) A Jedi Temple Guard—Danaelle Kevlar, the one who had earlier sent Red back to her room—approached Mikilah, hardly taking notice of Aza (and Dexus, if he’s there as well). Her mask added an ominous echo to her voice, but her tone lightened the mood a little. “Welcome to the Tython Jedi Temple. May I help you?”
