So I recently found this pic on a website on FB and it got me to thinking about some stuff. To me I feel it's basically speaking of a love much like how Jesus has for each of us. It doesn't matter how dark your past is or what it's filled with He loves you unconditionally and never falters or stops. It's a common thing for people to say I love you to one another, friends, family, relationships etc. But I wonder if they could see those parts of you that you do your best to keep hidden from the world how long that love would last for or how quickly it would die. Would they judge you? Would it change their entire opinion/viewpoint of you the way they would have normally treated you before they knew anything about your darkness? Or do they really love you enough not to care? It's one of those things I think about when someone/friends tell me they love me. I perhaps tend to take the Scripture "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." very literally. None of us are perfect or every will be; I want to love like Jesus does. I don't see your flaws or imperfections, I see only beauty and goodness where there should be guilt, condemnation and darkness. So I guess my challenge is how would you feel about a person that isn't perfect, or perhaps doesn't live up to that good image you have in mind? Would it alter your entire aspect about them? If someone is willing to do this much for you would you be willing to do as much for them? Up for debate.
