Dmitri Pendragon : You have Jackaby dreams. Why don't I have Jackaby dreams? Instead I dream about getting confused at the discipleship group sign-ups. This is storming not fair. That being said, your dream sounds awesome, except the bit where Jackaby was dying. That's sad. But I shall choose to believe that you found some way to save him at the end and just forgot (or else woke up before you could manage that). XD Jackaby did not die in the dream…I think I remember that the last book would be a race against time to free him from his vow before he died. A pretty motivating hook, wouldn't you say?

I'm glad. And storms, yes! I'd read that book in an instant. (Of course, I'd read a book with no plot whatsoever if Jackaby and Abigail were in it, so, yeah.)

The first part of my dream last night consisted of me driving on a high way, but I could NOT stop crashing! I never got hurt, but it was like I couldn't steer in a straight line for some reason. -_-
@leilani: This Jackaby story sounds really cool...

I had another dream about the Underground last night. I think Lylyss and Dmitri were in the same room with me. I remember telling Dmitri that my favorite character of his was Bern (whoever that is). We were all watching a bunch of Star Wars skits that gamemastergrimwarden had made. I don't remember what they were like, but they were funny, and we kept saying amongst ourselves that is was "classic Gamey humor." XD

Funnily enough, I do have a character named Bern. Alad Bern, the protagonist of my Arathea story Ieran's Rune.

I hate it when in dreams you think, "Oh, this would make a really cool book!" and then when you wake up in makes no sense at all. >_> I mean, it's funny... but it's also very disappointing. I thought I had my new action novel all planned out last night, and this morning I realized that all the fuss in the story had been over a sticker.

The trouble is, I can't even harvest the scenes from the dream because literally EVERYTHING revolved around that sticker and what was printed on it! It's all a bit fuzzy and hard to explain, but I'm sure you get the gist... @_@

Perhaps the sticker contains a top-secret microchip. Or maybe that doesn't work with the rest of the dream. A code, perhaps, or what have you.

I had so many dreams last night. One in which Brandon Sanderson came to my church and asked about my writing in a private conversation. There were a few others, but the one most suited to sharing here is another Jackaby one. I saw the dream from the POV of Abigail Rook. It was half dream-image, half written. Basically Jackaby had been possessed by the vampiric character who was floating around in Beastly Bones and was asking Abigail to drive a stake into his heart to kill the vampire. AAGH. If that's the fourth book, I'm not reading it. (Speaking of which, I haven't read Ghostly Echoes yet.) Upon waking, I recalled that several months ago I'd had another Jackaby dream, this also from Abigail's POV. I remember a train, and Jackaby disappeared, and I went searching for him by racing someone else down a stream through wild forest. There was something about being trapped in a picture at the end, but I don't remember it clearly.

I would LOVE to have dreams like that!
Just the other night, though, I had a Pirates of the Carribean Dream from the POVs of Jack, Elizabeth, Will, and that eyeball guy. It wasn't the plot of any movie that's come out, but rather of a hypothetical fifth movie. Jack's POV was b far the most fun.

Leilani Sunblade: Heheh. It's not as though the vast majority of my dreams are about the Jackaby series. That's three dreams out of thousands of nights. And it's not as if I can simply will myself to dream about a particular fandom, so I'm afraid I have no real answer to your question. Elethia Arvell: Eyeball guy?

Well, I had a dream last night that there was a Zombie virus going around the world, and the place where I was the Zombies were winning. Fortunately, it wasn't a big city area, just a lot of open countryside and a few small towns. The healthy humans were making their way in small groups to a safe haven in the mountains, and I was working with a rogue military guy to get some kids to the haven as well. When we finally got there, I thought we were safe, but then I noticed what I'd thought was a blister on my heel was actually the beginnings of the virus- I'd been infected! Before I could go to any of my friends for help, the haven elders found out about my condition and threw me off a cliff and into the river. I managed to swim to safety since I found the pain to be dulled. As I dragged myself to the shore, I was rescued by some surprisingly kind fellow zombies. I discovered that you didn't instantly turn into an ugly, slobbering, cannibalistic monster. Instead, you kept your intellect for a while, but the sicker you got, the more desperate and crazed you became. You could eat normal food, but no matter how much you ate, you would always be starving until you finally caved and attacked a human. I was still early enough in the stages that I could think like a regular human. I felt bad for the other zombies that were worse off than me, so I helped build a shelter and took care of some of their injuries. I found one of them who used to be a doctor and a scientist and read his journal. The first several entries were perfectly sane and well-written, but as time went on his language became more simplistic and desperate, and his handwriting quickly degenerated, until finally the entries were nothing but meaningless scribbles. However, I found in the notes a possible cure for the disease. I found the place were he used to hide and located a small vial of the cure he had been working on. I took it to delay my symptoms. Suddenly, a scout from the safe haven got into an accident near our zombie lair, and I knew the others would sniff him out and consume him if I didn't act quick. He was hurt and in need of medical attention, so I quelled my own growing hunger and dragged him back to the safe haven myself. The people there were shocked to see that I had helped the scout instead of eating him, but they still shot at me anyway. On of the bullets hit me in the arm. But all that commotion alerted my friends, who had noticed I was gone and assumed that I was out on some kind of patro. They all came rushing out and caught up with me. I had just about stopped talking altogether as my condition was worsening, but seeing them brought me back to myself enough to communicate like a sane person. I told them about the cure and gave them the doctor's journal. They swore they'd stop at nothing to develop it and help me and the other infected ones. Then, seeing a mob coming for me, I jumped off a bridge and back into the river, where I swam away so that I could survive until my friends came for me...
And then I woke up. I guess I'll never know if they cure me or not.
Funny thing is, I don't like or watch zombie movies.... EVER. I have no idea where this came from.

WookieeElf: Haha. I don't read his novels either. But I don't listen to or read or watch the news, so I'm afraid I've missed your creepy clowns. NightBlade: Let me guess…either the dream ended halfway through, or you went off on a tangent? I had a dream I was a Jedi Healer morally convicted about using the Force.
