Hehe, that counts in my eyes :P
I've been a fan of the franchise, especially the games, just about forever. I clicked the link in your sig and rabbit-holed my way through a ton of fanfiction stuff yesterday xP
Are you writing a Pokemon fanfic or is that for a different project?

Hey, I just had an idea. There's calculators online to see how much damage a Pokemon move would do, right? What if we did a Pokemon RP thread where we kept true to the mechanics of the original game? It would have a bit of variety compared to other rp threads where everyone has a general idea of how things will turn out, especially if we use move damage calculators and catch rate calculators to add some probability to the rp. We'd have to keep track of stats and make sure they're true to the game though hmm

Ellron Silvertree: Happy belated birthday! Alvar: Some of us actually tried to do a thing sort of like that on another roleplay thread— not with Pokemon, but using dice like you would in a tabletop RP to calculate whether an attack succeeded or failed. We kind of stopped doing that after a while, but that's partially because the main person driving it stopped posting. As far as a Pokemon RP, I wouldn't join, but it could be interesting if enough people wanted to try it.

It was just a cute little tracker that I was using during Nano. The Pokémon ranger games on the DS are my absolute favorite game. I play them just a little less than I play Animal Crossing. There's just something about being a police officer in a fantasy-esque world.

I made a strawberry upside down cake today.
I think.
It may end up being more of a strawberry upside down cobbler. We'll see.
Update: The cake seems to have turned out as a cake after all. We still haven't tasted it yet, but I expect it'll be good.

That sounds cool! How'd you make it? I've only ever heard of upside down pineapple

Basically, you slice strawberries and mix them up with some brown sugar and corn starch. You spread that in the bottom of a pan, then make cake batter, pour that on top, and bake it. Full recipe here, if you're interested: www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/recipes/a54083/strawberry-upside-down-cake-recipe/It turned out pretty yummy, but next time I make it, I'm going to do chocolate cake instead. I'm also using a smaller pan, because I think the strawberries-to-cake ratio could've been better.

Yep. I've been able to do a lot of reading and a lot of writing/editing, which has been nice. And I'm enjoying my internship as well; it keeps me busy but not too busy.

*walks in, after meandering the empty halls for some time* Wow, is it just the admins left now? BTW I graduated high school! EDIT: TheLostLordofAllyra welcome! Are you new to the realm of Whitehall, or are returning from the UG 1.0?

Congrats on graduating! Glad to be done with that?
There's a few more folk left around here than just the admins. It's just that Liessa and I were having a nice chat on this thread most recently.

That was supposed to be moderately sarcastic. It's certainly going to be an adventure! I starting University in the fall. Going for a degree in international business.

I've read them about a year ago(but still fresh in my mind!), then stumbled upon Whitehall after discovering the old Underground was gone.

A few days my youngest sister (almost 2) and I engaged in who could do a toothy smile the longest. I thought it was really cute until I discovered she was hiding a sharp kitchen knife behind her back.

Lylyss: Oh no. I already have a Raptor and that's enough for me. TheLostLordofAllyra: I know! And the fact that she had it BEHIND her back clearly indicated that she knew I would take it off her if I saw it…which I did. Such oozing innocence.

Leilani Sunblade: Honestly? She's a normal kid. Trying out things she's interested in but which she knows she's not meant to do. Still, there are many eyes, and we don't let her go off by herself.

Dmitri Pendragon: Fair enough. Though I feel like most kids probably don't do that with hiding knives behind their backs.
