Ellron Silvertree: He also wore spurs, and he later killed the Sarlaac. I'm never letting go of the escape from the Pit of Carkoon!! And Dengar was there. Awesooommmmmeeeeeenesssss. There are also some books out, I'm fairly certain, that have "behind the scenes" Fett action for the Trilogy. I'll have to check, though. I probably have them, but finding out would require rooting through a handful of boxes... WookieeElf: Ooh, neat theories. I'm a bit iffy about Snoke being Palpatine's progeny, though. I don't think he ever hung around women much, except during Senate meetings...I could be wrong, of course. Ooh, what if Snoke was Palpatine's son, but a clone? Palpatine did "resurrect" himself several times via clone; what if one of those attempts went wrong? And Snoke's technically Palpatine, but a diluted consciousness (which also happened)? Whee, crazy theories.

I'm not arguing that Fett is bad, or that he wasn't epic in the EU. All I'm saying is that, when using just the movies as a comparison, he actually did less than Phasma, which means there is hope for her.

She is, honestly. I don't know why her books get such a bad rep. Was it because she made the clones seem more human?
But yeah, the insta-girl thought I had my information wrong, since I had previously recommended a website of Mando'a to another person. The site was made by fans, which I noted while sharing, and then the girl was like "actually, Karen Traviss created all things Mandalorian and blah blah blah..." Heh. Wait until I tell her it was actually George Lucas who made the first Mando.

Karen Traviss really did make all things Mando though....

WookieeElf: Yeah, but it still rules out Skywalker.
EDIT: Sorry, kinda jumping between subjects. But I do remember reading about those guys on Wookieepedia. Is it just me or do they remind anyone of drefids? Idk, they look a little like how I pictured drefids.

I think my favorite Yuuzhan Vong weapon was the Ooglith Masquer. It's been a while since I read the series (unfortunately I had to stop before I finished; I was picturing their torture methods in way too much detail), but I do remember those. Disguises that could make the Vong look human... o-o EDIT: @kyrinth: Whoa, yeah, they kind of do.

Ellron Silvertree Which team are you on? Rey Solo, Rey Skywalker, Rey Kenobi or Rey Nobody?

Post by Ellron Silvertree on Apr 27, 2016 21:12:23 GMT
I wouldn't say I'm on any "team," necessarily, but if she was going to be related to someone we already know I would be vieing for Kenobi.
