-Can't anyone still just make an account and look at writing threads anyway? Yes, they can . . . but there's not really a lot we can do about that. There is, I believe, an option to make the subforum only available to certain members, or to set a password for it- but I, personally, don't like that option very much.
-Would it be a good idea for those who are posting their work on here to make some sort if claim/disclaimer at the beginning of each of their content posts? It's not a bad idea. I don't know if it'll hold up in a court or anything like that, but if you want to do it just in case, you're more than welcome to.

I mean, yeah, that's a of phone about the sun forum.
And I don't have a writing threads myself, but I know some of you guys share some of your really hard work, and people were talking about how their work was owned by someone else on the OG UG, so I just wanted to suggest it as a sort of PSA. I mean, I don't know much about it, so if someone with internet legal knowledge wanted to offer something then by all means.

The private subforum is a good deterrrent for about 75% of less-scrupulous people who are just looking for something to pass off on their own fanfic blog or something. The other 25% however are the ones who are persistent and actually are a long term threat to our intellectual property.
Anyhow, I was thinking of keeping my writing thread like more of an update board of my writing. I'll post new writing updates and keep em up for a week or so, then take em back off. If someone wants to read back on my stuff (idk if that'll actually happen) I'll happily pop it back on for a little bit if they ask. I'm just doing this because on my recent projects I've been putting a lot of research, art and development work into them.

Reading back, I just want to point out that making Kirenyth Fireblade feel like he needed to change his avatar because some people were distracted by it is rather unfair. I mean, unless someone has evere ADD or epilepsy, it isn't his fault xP it wasn't offensive or anything.

If I or any of the Sentinels made Kirenyth feel he had to change his avatar, it was not our intention and we do apologize. (Two of the Sents, for the record, reserved judgement or said they were fine with it; I said I wasn't fond of it only because I thought it slowed my computer down.)

I would like to propose a change to the Whitehall Castle backgroundāI have the old green background image, and in my experience the green is a friendlier colour for the forum background. (Red is slightly intimidating, the way I see it.) If the change is approved, I can email it to the Sentinel email address. I don't know the proper word for this, but I'd like to see the background "fitted" to the screenāas in, when you scroll down, the coloured border at the top moves with the page.

Dmitri Pendragon: I've been using only the mobile version of the site for a while now, so I'm not sure what to say about that. XP

I agree.

I would be cool with that. I like red, it's the "passion" color, but green is a nice relaxing color.
The administrators, when changing the background, should have the opportunity to select "fixed" background or something else like "scrolling, dynamic," ect.

I'm a-okay with that. I like them both, but it would be nice to see the old one again.

I did prefer the green, but I have got used to what we have, so I'm fine with either way.

Dmitri Pendragon : I'm perfectly fine with changing the background, if that's what people prefer. I will agree that green is the friendlier color in many ways. If you send me the background, I'll try to figure out how to switch them, unless anyone has any objections.

If you're certain you're giving up on it, yes. I'll delete it. But you are certain?

We've already had one meeting. If ever arises a need to make a new one, I'll do that. But there are six people having a bible study over hangouts now.
