(("He wanted to get out." XD I wonder if he thought that through. I can't blame him, though.))
Talmoran turned the ship back and up, in something like a somersault. The starfighters ahead swept underneath them. As Talmoran turned on the hyperdrive, the red starfighter towards their ship. Just as they jumped into hyperspace, the two fighters' wings scraped against each other.
Then Talmoran and Hadar were far away, every moment getting hundreds of thousands of miles farther, but the ship was badly damaged. "We may have to drop out of lightspeed and repair the ship," said Talmoran.

((Haha yup. He's thinking quite irrationally.))
Hadar collapsed on the ground, shaking. "Wha-aat?" He asked, trying to clear his head from the explosions.

"We're going to have to land," repeated Talmoran. "One of the wings and the boosters are badly damaged. We will have to stop before we reach Rakata Prime."

((Gah, I thought I had replied.))
Hadar didn't know what to say. He was seriously reconsidering this crazy mission. "Where will we stop? Won't those fighters attack us again?"

Talmoran pointed ahead to a green moon as they dropped out of hyperspace. "There - Plunder Moon. And yes, those fighters will attack us - if they can find us. Let's hope they won't." The starfighter docked on the moon in a large hangar. He got out and payed the docking metre. "This is an anarchist planet, you see. Everything comes at a price, everyone's looking out for themselves, but there's more law and order than you might think."

Hadar numbly put his satchel back on, picked up his blaster and looked out the viewport. "So I don't get on anyone's bad side and we'll be fine?"

Talmoran chuckled. "Pretty much. And I'd advise staying out of the cantinas. You can come along with me, or go sight-seeing, whichever you like - just don't go wandering off too far. Or you can stay here in the ship."

Hadar gulped. "I'll probably stay in here. It should stop me from getting into trouble." He said, sitting down on the wall bench that went around the gallery in the starship.

((You crazy kids...I was present at the founding of this thread...I was there when myself and a few friends changed this thread into a story thread of the Knights of Alleble and Paragory. Before the original UG fell. Before the dark times. That was so long ago...it's super surreal to see how much this thing has evolved and changed since then.))

((Dmitri Pendragon: It think it's the illusion of age to be honest haha. The Hey-day of the Underground (and by hey-day i mean DAILY reaching at least 80-150 new entries on CAC2) occurred when I was about 14-15, but I'm 20 now so it feels like ages ago. I assume that everyone here is still younger than me but I think we've all done quite a bit of growing. Tell me, when did this thread transition from what we created into a Star Wars Roleplay Thread? Not that I'm bothered by it, it's just quite the transition!))

(( Asariah Darkthorne : CaC2's been a Star Wars battle since 2013 at least. I think it might've transitioned sometime early 2013? I know that in between, there was a blended Berinfell/Alleble roleplay- it started out in Berinfell and then everyone went to Alleble for . . . some reason. That was mostly Tyler- were you around for Tyler?- and I and maybe Rye. The thread kind of died a bit after the new romance rules/after you left (not surprisingly, because basically all the characters were in romantic subplots), and then again after Tyler disappeared, and since people were losing interest in TBP/TDW and they wanted a Star Wars battle, they took over here. There might've been another adventure or two inbetween somewhere, but if there was, I don't think I joined in.))

Talmoran nodded, took a couple minutes to look over the damaged areas of the starfighter, and then made his way out of the hangar. The streets were close and crowded, clearly having arisen naturally as the city expanded and without any zoning ordinances. Some streets seemed ancient - made of stone and questionable looking timbers. Other streets and plazas were at the height of pristine modern architecture. But everywhere there was a bustling and the cries of loud mouthed merchants, motorbikes revving their engines as they tried to get through or hovercars honking and zooming dangerously close overhead. It could not be denied that there was a strong economy on Plunder Moon. Talmoran made his way by street signs to a little shop and ordered the parts he needed.
Meanwhile, five new ships landed at the hangar. About a dozen aliens got out and started to go from starship to starship in the dock, swiftly examining each and then moving on.
A round, mustachieod man strolled up in front of Hadar. "'Ello young man! Would ye loike to buy zis amazing strudel from Zee Amazing Strudel Shop? Zee Amazing Strudel Shop has zee freshest and sweetest and meltiest strudels on all of Plunder Moon! All at zee low, low price of four credits."

((Leilani Sunblade: Yeah, that and the fact that my little brother (who was only like 12 at that time so I think we should cut him some slack) tried to start a rebellion against the Sentinels with a few other people over the whole thing. That sealed the deal and neither of us got to come back haha. Do you remember that?))

((Oh that was IMMEDIATELY before I left. Side note, Ada and I are actually friends outside of the Underground. We got to meet each other (albeit over facebook) back in 2015 and we talk pretty often. Gonna try to recruit her here haha. And yeah, I was there for the initial discussion when...I think his name was Zane, wasn't it?...Zane asked all of us what we thought of it. I take it from what you said his campaign after that wasn't accepted very well? What all happened?))

(( Asariah Darkthorne: Ok. And that's cool! Definitely try to get her to return, if you can. Yep, Zane. The campaign didn't really go anywhere; what I remember of it was most people ignoring it, a few people (mostly younger members) supporting it, and a few others trying to shut it down with logic (along the lines of "Sentinels aren't elected, the current Sentinels are doing fine, and when they need new Sentinels, they'll appoint someone they choose"). I think the Sentinels finally stepped in and gave an official statement to say that they would choose new Sentinels in their own time or something like that, though I don't remember for sure.)) (( Dmitri Pendragon : I saw your post, yes, and I'm sorry for not responding sooner, as per the usual. I blame finals/travel/unpacking and will try to be more prompt over the summer. I actually did start working on a response this morning, mostly because I figured I should stop using the battle thread to chat on. xD)) ((Haha. Curious. If you edit the post and delete it, does it disappear, or does it reappear with no known explanation?)) ((I would apologise…but I think I'd be redundant in doing so. I will attempt to do better.)) The lich made no motion to defend. Ver's reigniting lightsaber slashed open its reflective black skin across its chest. The green light pulsed strongly around the bloodless wound. The creature showed no sign of pain and instead pushed forward, opening the wound further, and stabbed at Ver with its own dark sword. Nearby, Valene stumbled against the lich's attack and wildly parried the blows from its blade. ((Lich1: 20 to attack (critical success, 10 check) )) ((Valene: 2 to attack (10 check) / 11 to defend (10 check) )) ((Lich2: 8 to attack (10 check) )) ((It just reappears. I might've found the cause just now, though; we'll see.)) Blastblastblastit- Only the Force still enhancing her speed and awareness kept Ver from being skewered. Instead, the lich's blade skimmed past her side, mere millimeters from her tunic, and slashed a new hole in her robe as she dodged. She backtracked several steps, trying to put space between herself and that green-glowing blade before the lich could swing up or to the side and still bring her down, circling to the side as she did. Then she aimed another slash at the lich's side, though she could tell as she swung her saber that she'd just missed the opening she thought she had. ((Rolled: 11+5 (Force enhancement) to dodge (16 check), 10 to attack (13 check).)) Save

((Lich1: 13 to defend (5 check) / 11 to attack (10 check) )) ((Lich2: 15 to attack (10 check) )) ((Valene: 10 to defend (10 check) )) The slash across the lich's chest began melding at the corners, weaving itself back together without even the hint of a scar. It pressed its assault, easily knocking aside Ver's attack, and launched into a series of quick but unhurried thrusts at Ver's torso. Valene regained her feet and exchanged blows with her opponent, neither giving ground.
