Heeeeey, folks. I was wondering if I could make a thread for like... a kind of "Feel Good" thread. So like... the point would be you say something nice about someone, then that someone has to say something nice about someone else. A pass around compliment.
The best way to be happy is to make others happy, right?

Hey guys, I think it would be pretty cool to have a "Name That Person" thread! The basic idea is that you post a picture of a person/character, and the next person will try and name them. Then they would continue the game by posting another picture. What do you guys think?

Can I make a "Community World Builder" thread, where we all create a fantasy world as a group? People could make contributions (writing lore, creating their own races to inhabit the world, creating religions for those inhabitants, etc.), and I would archive them and perhaps post them on a wiki of some sort for everyone to read!

I'd like to make a thread for the Underground Video Project that a number of us have been discussing.
See, I think we need a way to attract people to the Underground. The number of new members has gone down significantly, even since before the old Underground went down. Our video project will be a collaboration of the resources and talents here on the Underground. Once the video is finished it can be shared with others to bring in more Christian Fantasy & Sci-fi enthusiasts to the forum. Because at the rate we're going now, in a few years the Underground will end up just another ghost forum, like Bryan Davis' and the Door Within forums. I don't want that to ever happen here.
So. I want permission for a new thread to help organize this project and to make sure that it gets finished. What do you think?

We understand your desire to make sure the UG doesn't die, and you're welcome to invite your friends to join us on here, but we both have some concerns with advertising the UG on YouTube.

What about a creationism/evolution debate/strengthening faith thread?
1 Peter 3:15 says Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
So it would be a thread were we can talk about creationism and evolution, and we'd talk about different things and how they don't work in evolution. Or how they don't work in creationism.

I think that a thread like that would be fairly pointless, unless we had someone who had a good level of knowledge on evolution, and probably who believed it, otherwise it's the blind leading the blind, and it really only ends up being basic arguments on the same generic points. And it won't be a challenge to rebuff points or make certain you can have the answers for everything. ...speaking from experience here, I happen to have an evolutionist brother.

Also,I would like to point out that it is possible for creationism and evolutionism to work together. They aren't opposites--evolution isn't a creation theory. The idea that there could be truth in evolution and that means that creationism is false is simply wrong. They aren't two opposing views. One is about how the universe came to be. The other is about how species develop over time.
Anyways, couldn't such a debate simply go on one of our current debate threads?
