Also,I would like to point out that it is possible for creationism and evolutionism to work together. They aren't opposites--evolution isn't a creation theory. The idea that there could be truth in evolution and that means that creationism is false is simply wrong. They aren't two opposing views. One is about how the universe came to be. The other is about how species develop over time. Anyways, couldn't such a debate simply go on one of our current debate threads? No, It's not possible. And yes, they are opposing views. They both have an explanation for how the world was made, and then how species developed. |

Well said, Raptor. I studied the creation/evolution debate, and yes, they are complete opposites, with no way of reconciling the two without severely compromising one of them.

I had an idea for an RP/Battle thread but it involves 'gifted' people like in the Supers' thread, so I don't know if I should put it there or ask to make another thread so it wouldn't clutter the Supers' story....

It's basically about an alternate Earth where everything mythical/magical/mutant exists, and the humans decided that they didn't want to share/have dangerous beings wandering around. So they build this GIANT place called The Facility. Anybody that shows signs of being a mutant is sent there, along with creatures and the supernatural. They all live together, and that obviously has its drawbacks, and everyone wants to get out and be free, because the place stinks, in their opinion. So, that's basically it. Big, yes. Crazy? Even more so. XP

Sounds interesting. I think it would work to put it on the supers thread as well, considering how many different worlds/plotlines we have on FA, and also considering that the Supers thread isn't that busy at the moment. However, I'd like to get NightBlade's opinion as well, since he's the other major player on there at the moment. |

Would anyone be interested in a TBP RP thread? I was thinking of a plot line set after the end of The Tide of Unmaking, so that might limit the participation, idk... Or have all those who have read all three books PM each other and collaborate for some fanfic? I was watching one of my sibs play Spyro: A New Beginning, a few of the odd names caught my eye...and a Drefid/half breed of some sort Drefid named Cairnmaker decided to make an appearance...  |

There's technically nothing wrong with making more RPs, it's simply a decision by the Sentinels to keep them to a minimum. I suppose it would tidy the main page up a bit more though.

The reason we said no more role plays is the number of members active can only sustain so many role plays. They're already kind of lagging along with just a few that are doing well. Adding more would only compound the problem.
