I haven't seen Star Trek, but I'll go with a First Order stormtrooper. An Imperial stormtrooper…not so sure.

A Stormtrooper would miss and the Red Shirt would die. XP
But, honestly, you can't diss the Imperial Stormtrooper. Okay, they did get beat up by a bunch of teddy bears, but they are good shots! The only reason why they always seemed to 'miss' when shooting at the Main Trio is because Vader wanted them alive. Look at the Jawa Sandcrawler, and the Rebels on Leia's ship. They were decimated.

I like that scenario, Wookie. XD
This has probably already been done, but... Wolverine vs. a high-ranking Drefid?

Wolverine. Sorry, but you can't ignore that healing factor. Even if he was outskilled, Wolverine would probably be able to outlast a drefid.

The drefid might find himself de-clawed not long into the fight anyway. Adamantium has a reputation for being extremely sharp...

Still, a Drefid wielding the Dark Arts has more than just claws on their side. In Curse of the Spider King, Tommy shot a Drefid between the eyes and the arrow just bounced away. It's pretty hard to kill a Drefid if you've never fought one before.

True, but Tommy also didn't know how to fight. Wolverine had somewhere around fifty to sixty years of fighting experience, if not more?

That's true, Wolverine would probably end up winning. All he would need is one clear shot at a major artery....

Let's not forget wolverine's healing factor. Not even Asp could do that! That's an interesting idea: wolverine vs Asp? (In his evolved spider like state)

Taeva did catch Asp off guard.

But if that were wolverine, he'd have just shrugged it off and healed, even if he was caught off guard.

I have to re-read the parts when Asp is in his spider form. It's been such a long time, I've forgotten what his capabilities were. I need to order a hardcopy of The Tide of Unmaking. I read the kindle version, but I can never seem to retain what I read electronically as well as I do with print. I know the first two books really well, but I can hardly recite the plot of the last book. That's really sad. Overall, I think that Wolverine would still beat Asp- if only because Asp wouldn't expect such a strong healing factor from him. The villainous fiend would turn his back and walk away, only to have his head sliced off by a newly recovered Wolverine.

I hate to double post, but...
Kylo Ren (Star Wars) vs. Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
|
|
|
Post by Kirenyth Fireblade on Jul 17, 2016 12:58:55 GMT
That would probably depend on whether Kylo was unarmed or not. If he had his lightsaber, Zuko would be a goner since Kylo could block his fire and just cut him down. If it were just a contest between telekinesis and pyrokinesis though, he might have a better chance. But even though Kylo is extremely unstable, his Force powers are immense. I mean, he stopped a blaster bolt! Kylo would probably curl Zuko's own fire around him and leave him burning... Wanda Maximoff vs Jean from X-men (Is that how you spell her name? )

Oh dear goodness. Wanda wouldn't even have time to think about winning before she got obliterated. Jean Gray actually has powers, the most powerful of the mutants in fact.
EDIT totally mixed up Wanda Maximoff and Natasha Rominov xD It totally depends on which point in Jean's life this is. If it's the X Men movies where she's younger at the academy, then Wanda would win. But later when Jean is getting all Phoenix-y then she would win

I agree with Nightblade- it would really depend on what point they were at in their lives. If they had to go at each other in their primes, I think Jean would win just because she's ridiculously overpowered, and not to mention she NEVER DIES. Even if by some miracle Wanda managed to beat her, she would just turn up a couple issues later, reunite with Scott, break Wolverine's heart, and then disintegrate Wanda. XD
That's not to say that Wanda's not without her values. She's quite powerful too, I just know that she's more easily taken down than Jean.

Not to mention Wanda has both telekinesis AND telepathy. But seeing that Jean was able to resist the abilities of the Professor, that doesn't count for much.
Ok, so how about Deadpool vs Wolverine? (Deadpool has Adamantium katanas for this match)

Deadpool would win because he doesn't care about the laws of reality. Other than that, it depends on what you mean. I'm not sure who the better fighter is, but neither could properly kill the other since both have grown back from basically a cell before.

Wolverine has been around longer but is largely devoid of weapons, whereas Deadpool has magical access to a stupid amount of weapons including a carbanium (I think that's the spelling) sword that can eliminate healing factors

Bucky, because Cap would never have the heart to finish him off.

Well given the Superpower Beatdown I just watched, who do you guys think would win? Winter Soldier or NIghtwing?

Who's Nightwing? (Aside from Jett, of course xP)

Dick Grayson?
|
|
|
Post by Ellron Silvertree on Aug 6, 2016 14:25:57 GMT
I don't know a while lot about Nightwing, but I know he's an exceptional fighter. However, Winter Soldier is enhanced and has metal arm. He even held his own against Cap, though Cap is more enhanced than he is. That being said, Nightwing is probably a better fighter. He's a martial artist, while Bucky is more of a guerrilla fighter. I think if it was to the death, Winter Soldier would win.
EDIT: Kirenyth, Nightwing is a DC vigilante superhero named Dick Grayson. He was originally Robin, Batman's sidekick, but he left and became Nightwing when he grew up.

Oh, ok.
Jett vs Cap (Personally I think Jett would because of his healing factor, not to mention he's probably stronger than Cap)
|
|
|
Post by Ellron Silvertree on Aug 7, 2016 4:25:21 GMT
He might be stronger, I'm not sure, but cap has more combat training than Jett. He would know how to fight, whereas Jett basically can just hit really hard.

|

Post by NightBlade on Aug 7, 2016 5:16:44 GMT
Plus the shield, yo. Even Jett can't get through that shield. (Ignoring the glaring inconsistencies in the MCU movies...)

He might be stronger, I'm not sure, but cap has more combat training than Jett. He would know how to fight, whereas Jett basically can just hit really hard. Saying that Jett can only just hit really hard is kind of selling him short. He's trained in Vexbane and later in Nightform, and he's WAY stronger than cap! He lifted several tons of rock over his head when he was 13, to say nothing about what he could do when he was an adult! And even though Cap is almost invincible, Jett still has his healing factor, which works almost as well as Wolverine's (remember when Asp stabbed him through and he healed in less than a minute?). Therefore, I think Jett would be more than a match for Cap, even with his shield! (Which theoretically Jett could tear out of Cap's hand and use against him, but that's not really his style)
